The Center for Engaged Jewish Studies (EJS)

The Center for Engaged Jewish Studies, also called, EJS (pronounced "edges"), under the directorship of Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, provides classes, retreats, and educational events in the Boulder/Denver area featuring local and nationally known rabbis, scholars, and spiritual leaders sharing their cutting edge ideas, and helping audiences think "out of the box." We are proud to have hosted Rabbi Rami Shapiro, Rabbi David Cooper, Eve Ilsen, Mark Gerzon, Rabbi Shawn Zevit, Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, and of course our beloved Reb Zalman.
